This Juneteenth, the Southern Georgia Black Chambers (SGBC), in partnership with the VSU College of Business, invites you to a curated journey through the past, present, and future of Black excellence in Valdosta.
We aren't just celebrating a holiday; we are honoring a legacy of resilience and launching a new era of regional economic power. The "Legacy & Launch" Tour is a two-hour immersive experience designed for entrepreneurs, community leaders, and families who believe in the "Homegrown" potential of South Georgia.
The Experience:
THE ANCHOR (11:00 AM): We gather at the Copeland African American Museum for a traditional Libation Ceremony and a reading of the Emancipation Proclamation. Experience a guided tour that highlights the "soft infrastructure" and business grit of our ancestors.
