About the event
Cindy Corgan is the new business advisor for the SBDC representing the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program. She serves 22 counties in South Georgia from Thomas County (Thomasville) to Glynn County (Brunswick) and north towards Brunswick and Macon and everything in between. The SSBCI program is put in place to support minority, women, veterans, and underserved businesses in addition to very small businesses (VSB). The areas of assistance that the business advisor for the SSBCI will include are business structure (legal), assistance in accounting and record-keeping abilities, and financing. The SSBCI funds were provided by the U.S. Treasury and are being handled by the Development of Community Affairs (DCA) of our state. The DCA has commissioned the SBDC to assist the minority, women, veterans, underserved businesses, and VSB owners to attain capital. She looks forward to discussing how she can assist you in your journey to open a business or apply for a loan!
