Valdosta's Liberty Theatre: A Talk with Alfred Willis

We wanted to share an exciting update with you regarding an upcoming event that the Valdosta Heritage Foundation has asked members of our organization to attend.

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 6 p.m., architectural historian Alfred Willis will be giving a talk on the history of Valdosta's Liberty Theatre and Liberty Club. The event will take place at QUOLA (Quality of Life Association – Lowndes County/Valdosta Inc.) located at 115 Florida Avenue in Valdosta, Georgia.

This event is a great opportunity to learn more about the rich cultural history of Valdosta and the significant role that the Liberty Theatre and Liberty Club played in the community. Additionally, QUOLA and the Valdosta Heritage Foundation will be presenting the event, making it an excellent networking opportunity.

Please note that parking will be available at the entrance of 406 South Ashley Street, and Big Nick's Food Truck will be on site, so come hungry!
